Ryker and Burr play tug-of-war with Burr’s finger.
And remember folks, if you “hate the Canucks so much but kids are cute”, you can always reblog a gif of a kid doing something non-Canucks related instead! :D
OH I SAID IT. OH MAN. I’M A TROLL NOW. LOOK OUT.
WATCH OUT RYKER, BURROWS MIGHT BITE YOU. REMEMBER BERGERON.
Oh, I came SO CLOSE to making the obligatory Burrows bite joke. SO CLOSE.
I admit. I love making the bite jokes. But, if another team’s fan does, they’re going down. Double standard? Yes. Do I care? No.

eat, drink & be married: Maid of Honour 101
I have had literally dozens of requests to give a list of the duties of a maid of honour. These are via multiple books, magazines and bridesmaid101.com
- Help the bride in looking for her venue. Typically the groom will not be involved until the venue is selected and the final selection will…
DAY 17
I still have this??
I just received an email informing that something has started following me on Tumblr. I forgot I even had this thing!
my advice to you
Dear Me,
Just so you know, the guy you’ve been pining for - the guy who will leave his girlfriend for you - who will eventually go back to that girl behind your back and then cheat on you several more times is clearly not the one for you. Listen to your friends that say he’s not worth it. Don’t lose your best friend by choosing the boy. You know deep down that she’s right - they’re all right. You’ll end up with your heart broken but don’t worry, you’re going to be fine. You’re going to meet a wonderful guy who instantly gives you butterflies, whose smile makes your day that much better, and whose odd personality will have you questioning, “why am i with him again?” only to know that he makes you a better person.
Concentrate on school more - that ridiculous cheater boyfriend will cause you too much drama in the latter half of your high school career. Dump him, dump him now.
Don’t freight love, because you’re happy in your love life because soon enough, you’ll find the one you’re meant to spend the rest of your life with.
Your love for food at 16 doesn’t ever change but you should know…lay off the fast food. Eat healthier and exercise a lot more because you are not going to have that 16 year old body forever. Those pounds will pack on and you’ll be working hard to lose it as fast as possible but you’ll find it a lot more difficult to lose than to gain. Remember that you actually go like veggies and fish - don’t give into temptation. Also, don’t eat when you’re bored. That’s what got you in trouble in the first place. You’ve been given the name Hungry Cub for a reason, and you’ve lived up to that name and 15 pounds later you’ll be wishing you were called Skinny Cub.
Although you’ve worked your entire life at the swap meet, you’ll get your first job shortly after your first real break up and you’ll work nonstop after that. Remember to take the time to enjoy yourself but don’t let it get out of control. They call you a shop-a-holic for a reason, just look at your closet. Have some self-control. Don’t worry, it’s gotten fuller even at the age of 25 (maybe I should be telling the 25 year old me that - self control). Remember that when you’re 18 and serving at Kabuki to be less lazy and take that money to the bank and put it into your account. There will be way too many overdraft charges for you to count and imagine all those extra shirts you could have purchased if you didn’t overdraft.
The world is gigantic - so much bigger than you can imagine. There is a world outside of of Rancho and you’ll realize that soon enough. Take the time to go on vacations, even if they’re mini ones. Take the time to relax and smile more. Your friends will change through life experiences and the true friends are the ones that stick with you through thick and thin. You’ll remain close to your core group those that you call the Rancho Lovers - even at 25 and hopefully for many more years to come. Although you may not get to spend as much time as you would want with them, remember that they love you and you love them and cherish those rare reunions because life gets busy but you all will always find the time.
Network in college. Go find the freaking career center and see what they have to offer. Socialize, join a club - not a sorority, a club - writing, business, anything. Don’t just commute to class, sleep in the library, and head home. Be apart of the campus and get to know people. Oh and find that little Mexican restaurant on University and try their carne asada fries - de-lic-ious! Just don’t eat a lot of them. :)
There are going to be a lot of obstacles you’ll have to overcome, but don’t worry, you’ll get over them. Stop looking at your feet when you walk. Stand up tall, walk with your shoulders square and your head held high and you’ll be fine.
These are just a few things - but enough to get you by for now…
XOXO,
The 25 year old you
